Ironwood Residential Design is a custom home design firm based in Penticton, British Columbia.
Ignite was engaged to develop a signature brand that lived up to the high standard of the homes they design. An in-depth Discovery Session yielded a wealth of ideas and inspiration on which the new brand identity was developed.
The icon in the logo was inspired by the classic monograms often found on wrought iron gates and family crests, while the association with ‘iron’ was utilized to help with name recollection. The final logo captured the essence of the brand perfectly and the client was thrilled with the result.
Business cards were designed, which feature a unique die cut shape that follows the curve of the round icon. The design was kept clean and uncluttered, and an ultra thick uncoated stock was selected to give the cards a strong confident feel.
To tie the brand together across all media, a new splash page was created as a temporary information page for the company’s website, which is still in the development phase.
