Ignite has been engaged with the LHT brand from the very beginning in 2007, with the development of the logo and brand identity. The Loyal Hair Therapy logo is simple, classy, sophisticated, modern and bold. The lime green pops from the deep rich black to grab attention and leave a lasting impression. The icon itself was designed to create an abstract “L” as well as mimic a lock of hair.
Business cards were updated late last year, incorporating some unique printing techniques. The cards feature a thick uncoated card stock flooded with black on one side, and bright lime green on the other. The black side of the cards also incorporates an intricate clear gloss foil pattern that is truly stunning.
In 2010, Ignite injected new life and passion into Loyal’s marketing efforts with the bold and sometimes edgy “OWN IT.” campaign, and current positioning line.
The “OWN IT.” campaign let the marketplace know; Loyal Hair Therapy is a brand that embodies ‘attitude’ without apology or exception. They are quality, extravagance, flamboyance, success, control, performance and ambition. But above all else, the Loyal Hair Therapy brand is an attitude, one that insists – know who you are… own it!
The “OWN IT.” campaign went as far as taking negative labels that are often used in a derogatory or demeaning manner and flipping it around. The “Own Bitch” ad, for example, was about being confident, driven and uncompromising, though it did create quite a stir.
